Information on Training and Funding Streams
Delivery of ICB program in clinical or agency settings
Any person who has completed the ICB training via the Learn to Play website: https://www.learntoplayevents.com/ and received a certificate can facilitate an ICB program. This could include any allied health professional such as social worker, occupational therapist, play therapist, psychologist or speech therapist.
In addition to this, you can opt to become a registered provider with the NDIS – https://www.ndis.gov.au/providers/becoming-ndis-provider/am-i-ready
This will mean that participants who are funded by the NDIS can access the program at a slightly cheaper rate.
You do not have to be a registered provider via NDIS in order to deliver the program or for your participants to have NDIS funding to participate, however.
See more information at: https://www.ndis.gov.au/providers
If participants have funding, they can claim this under the line-item Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living.
